We Are Live Events take over our bar stage to present three of the best new bands on the scene.
IDLE HOURS
With quizzical social commentary, Idle Hours culminate the sense of cruising rhythm with jagged guitar and melody. Hailing from 4 unique English towns, the band are relative newcomers to the current indie and post-punk landscapes, with two singles “Scream in Stereo’ and ‘Made Flesh’ under their belt. The band have developed a sound that blends genre, creating engaging and energised music that is turning heads.
DRIVERS
A young six-piece formed in Manchester. Drivers use guitars, saxophone and violin to blend noise, experimental, and progressive rock.
ZOEN
Ranging from glitchy psych-rock anthems to beat driven post punk, tech-loving 4-piece ZOEN, is looking to cement themselves in the Manchester underground scene. Blending old with new, the post-something act looks to blur the lines in-between simulation and reality.
