Martin Hayes – one of the most significant talents to emerge in the world of traditional Irish music – is joined onstage by a quartet as impressive as he is. The Common Ground Ensemble consists of Cormac McCarthy, Kate Ellis of Crash Ensemble, Kyle Sanna of Brooklyn Rider and Brian Donnellan of The Tulla Ceìiliì Band
Following the release of their extraordinary album ‘Peggy’s Dream’, the band are heading out on an expansive UK & Irish autumn tour. Expect an evening hosted by some of the best musicians Ireland has to offer, spanning a wide breadth of genres including trad Irish music, improvisation, arrangement, jazz, avant-garde and contemporary classical.
