Hailing from Glasgow, Daniel Docherty is a talented singer-songwriter and virtuosic guitarist. His is a tender and intimate style full of emotion and natural charisma. Inspired by greats like Joni Mitchell and John Martyn, Eric Clapton and Eva Cassidy, Daniel has a classically informed approach but very much brings it into the modern era with a unique artistic twist.

Daniel’s principal aim is always to tell stories with his moving music. As well as this, drawing on his experience as a busker, he is mindful of entertaining audiences with catchy choruses. Daniel has come up through the ranks to get spotted by a major label and is now signed to PIAS. One of his biggest hits to date has been ‘Colours’, which climbed high on the Spotify viral chart peaking at #6 and there’s much more to come.
