Ukrainian global-folk powerhouse DakhaBrakha return to the UK in 2025.
Hailing from Kyiv, Ukraine, the quartet began as a traditional Ukrainian folk band, before incorporating sounds from the wider world into their music. Experimentation soon followed as they explored – and then embraced – traditional instrumentation from around the world. Reflecting fundamental elements of sound and soul, the self-described “ethnic chaos” band create a world of unexpected new music.
With their theatrical use of scenic elements to expand their musical and artistic vision, their shows are an impressively extravagant, wonderfully curious celebration of global history and culture.
