Singer-songwriter Adam French has released the final single from his forthcoming debut album, The Back Foot And The Rapture. The London-based, Congleton-raised artist had previously released three album cuts in the form of his Weightless EP, prior to dropping popular single The Only Living Thing, which has received widespread airplay and been stripped bare for a special standalone single.
Keep it Together takes form around reverb-drenched guitar chords, with tight vacuum-packed drums and subtle melodic layering giving depth and structure to its arrangement. French’s lyrics depict an artist clutching at the moorings of their life, holding things together through adversity.
The single release follows his first artistic podcast, which hears the down-to-earth Northerner discussing music production and city life with fellow London-based singer-songwriter Rhys Lewis. French performs live at Band on the Wall on 26th March and you can pick up tickets here.
