As part of Telling Our Stories, we’re conducting a series of workshops in schools and care homes where young and older people alike can discover the music and cultural heritage of South Asia.
This is a National Lottery Heritage funded music and heritage workshop series for Key Stage 2 pupils and care homes. The programme explores South Asian music and heritage, as well as the participant’s own heritage. It has been developed by music teaching specialists, heritage learning experts and musicians with South Asian heritage.
The series uses a fun mixture of movement, singing, percussion, instrument learning, composition, craft, and creation to keep participants engaged and excited.
The workshops will be delivered by our team of music leaders in your school or care home.
If you represent a school or care home that would like to get involved in Telling Our Stories, please get in touch!
