Valve + Puppet Theory + Oliver Vawdrey Music

  • Saturday | 23.11.19
  • 7.00pm
  • Band on the Wall
  • £8 ADVANCE / £1...

All born in the same hospital in Stockport between 2000 and 2002, Valve formed in 2018 when school friends Noah Hemingway (Vocals), George Edwards (Lead Guitar) and Alex Tollerfield (Rhythm Guitar) decided to form what would become Valve. Recruiting Siobhán Lally (Bass) and Alfie Carr (Drums), the band rounded out their sound and released their debut single “Lilac Eyes” in May 2018. The song quickly gained traction, amassing over 40,000 plays on Spotify alone.

They have been described as “One of the best up-and-coming bands of 2018” by Natalie-Eve Williams (BBC Introducing) – since then Valve have proved a popular attraction on the Manchester scene, selling out headline gigs at Jimmy’s and HIVE. The past few months have seen the band going from strength to strength, playing at Academy 3 and Gorilla – it looks like 2019 will be a massive year for the stopfordians!

This is a standing show. Presented by Scruff of the Neck.
