Young Musician’s Summer School

We’re inviting young people to explore music for film and compose their own soundtrack this summer! Whether your child already attends our Saturday Music Club, or just wants to try something new, our Young Musician’s Summer School is suitable for all abilities!

Across this 5 day course, we’ll be exploring music for film, and working on composing music for the silent film ‘A Trip to the Moon’. The course will conclude with a live performance soundtracking the film for family and friends.
We welcome all abilities and instruments to take part in this course. You can bring your own instruments, but we have keyboards, guitars, bass, violins, drums and percussion on site which can be used if you don’t have an instrument.
Snacks and drinks provided, and pizzas on the final day. Please bring your own packed lunch to sessions Monday-Thursday.

Dates: Monday 17th – Friday 21st August
Times: 10:00-16:30 Monday-Thursday, then a performance for friends and family on Friday at 13:00 (students will be expected to come in at 10:00 sharp on the Friday).
