This concert is being held at CLUB ACADEMY, Oxford Rd, Manchester.

Tim Booth has been involved in the British music industry since the early 80’s gaining recognition as lead singer of the Manchester band James who have had 17 top thirty singles and sold over 12 million records worldwide.

In 1995 Tim collaborated with film composer Angelo Badalamenti (of Twin Peaks fame) and recorded “Booth and the Bad Angel,” released in 1996. In 2004, working with producer Lee ‘Muddy’ Baker and songwriter KK (Kevin Kerrigan), Tim released his second collaborative album, “Bone”, which received general acclaim and saw Tim tour throughout the UK and Europe with his band The Individuals.

Since 2007 James have released Hey Ma and The Morning After/The Night Before and have been touring extensively throughout the UK and Europe, North America and South America. Love Life is Tim’s third solo album, once more working with Lee ‘Muddy’ Baker and KK. The album is released on April 4th 2011 and he is performing a series of dates in the UK from April 20th.
