  • Band on the Wall, Manchester
  • £9.00

On 28th January we are inviting families along to this very special family friendly live audio-visual & DJ show at Manchester’s most iconic music venue Band on the Wall.

DJ Woody will be taking us on a visual journey through music, utilising his trademark edits, animations, graphics and World Champion turntablist skills to create a groundbreaking show.

DJ Woody’s audio-visual DJ show ‘Turntables in Technicolour’ has taken him around the globe. From headlining festivals to showcasing at the World DMC Finals and appearing on the hit TV show The Slammer to a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

One of Mixmaster Mike’s (Beastie Boys) favourite DJs and labelled a genius by DJ Qbert.

“The best DJ in the World” – Hudson Mohawke,

“The best video DJ set i’ve ever seen” – Jurassic 5’s Cut Chemist.

Known for his innovations, Woody helped design the world’s first ever musical turntable instrument (Vestax Controller One) and is famed as a prolific pioneer of new scratch techniques.

To compliment the show, we welcome back family favourite ELECTRON, an LED robot walkabout unlike any other with multiple lights, strobes and inbuilt lasers on his suit. After hundreds of years here on earth ELECTRON has discovered something extraordinary – that we earthlings call music.
