New Street Records are excited to present you with the ultimate funk event this month! Coming together in a unique combination of live music and club night, pop-funk band Fresco will be playing alongside the Hardcore Horns and some of the best funk DJ’s in town to make you put on your dance shoes and get seriously funky. Expect some groovy tunes that are guaranteed to put you in a good mood and a night bustling with energy!
Fresco are a student band based at the RNCM, Manchester and if you haven’t heard of them yet you have definitely missed out! With choruses to sing to, grooves to dance to and an energetic stage presence, this 5-piece is putting the soul back into pop music.
The Fresco Funk Night is organised in a collaboration with New Street Records, a student collective determined to promote student musicians. From running open mics and gigs to their own radio show, they aim to support upcoming talent and provide opportunities in order to push the local scene.
