Band on the Wall’s Sunday Acoustic Sessions continue, featuring the following great lineup:
Manchester’s finest purveyor of the modern-day folk song, Mathew Gray, returns to Sunday Sessions; this time, accompanied by his brand spanking new band, The Awful Truth. Mathew’s lyrics, always insightful, are often laugh-out-loud funny and his accomplished finger-style guitar playing is augmented beautifully by his new band. This will be a real treat for anyone who appreciates good song writing.
JBS is a singer, song-writer and guitarist from Manchester, who delivers celtic folk ballads with an effortlessly engaging voice and intricate, yet understated guitar playing. Returning for a second headline slot at Sunday Sessions, we just love hearing this guy play!
Sunday Sessions regulars will already be familiar with the myriad talents of Rob Lanyon. A regular on the open mic, Rob has a unique, improvisational style which, combined with his Tim Buckley-esque vocal range and dynamic guitar playing makes for compelling listening.
Doors open at 6pm and there will be an open mic from 6.30pm. See you down there!
