A special international JazzShuttle concert fronted by Manchester’s coolest axeman, and featuring two of France’s most adventurous and talented improvising musicians. They’ll be performing acoustic jazz versions of some of Stuart’s Distilled material, some new compositions written especially for this band and re-workings of electronic compositions that embody his trademark approach to music: ambient grooves, loops and slowly-evolving soundscapes, Laurent de Wilde’s style looks back and forward, combining an enviable jazz technique with a curiosity for drum ’n’ bass and electro-acoustic music.
On this, the final date of their short northern tour, Stuart adds his string quartet into the mix, bringing depth and richness to the sound. These combined forces guarantee a memorable and exclusive performance, showing Stuart’s creativity in a new light.
