A free mini music festival launching The Manchester College’s new music industry courses and featuring performances by Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), hosted by Terry Christian, PA by Craig Charles (Red Dwarf, BBC Funk & Soul Show) plus local bands from 10am – 2pm. Free to get in so come down for this mid week party in the park featuring a set by one of the UK’s most respected artists.
Tim Burgess launches the celebratory day at 10am followed by live performances by student bands on Wednesday 29th May until 2pm to celebrate a unique programme of new music courses by The Manchester College to be run from Band on the Wall.

Tim performed at Band on the Wall in the outset of his career before becoming lead singer of globally-successful band The Charlatans. Tim will be joined by Terry Christian, compere for the day, one of Manchester’s most well-known media personalities, and Craig Charles (Coronation Street, BBC 6Music) is making a 1pm appearance too.
It is going to be a fantastic half day of top bands so get down and join the free party!
