Band on the Wall welcomes three-times Grammy nominated, American singer-songwriter and guitarist Peter Case for a night of blues, country and soul-flecked folk rock.
Peter Case’s colourful career has traversed many musical styles beginning with the the proto- power pop band The Nerves before early success with 80s LA new wave band The Plimsouls. Following that group’s break-up, Case firmly established himself as an incredibly influential American singer/songwriter specializing in finger-picked acoustic guitar and redemptive songs about society’s outcasts and drifters, delivered in his uniquely soulful, folk-rock style. Possessing a wonderfully powerful vocal style combined with visionary songwriting has earned him die hard fans over more than two decades as a solo artist.
