Pat P.P. Arnold’s voice is instantly recognisable.
Having featured on an array of songs by musical heavyweights – Mick Jagger, Stevie Wonder, Roger Waters and Nick Drake, to name a few – she’s proven to be worthy of that ‘Queen of Soul’ title over and over again. The impressive vocal range displayed on songs like ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’ & ‘Angel Of The Morning’ have transformed them into certified soul classics, embedding her iconic voice in the fabrics of Northern Soul culture.
Accompanied by DJ Pete Roberts, this will be a night of celebrating Manchester’s cultural history – particularly the thriving mod, disco and Northern Soul scenes of the 1960s. A dream team combination bringing a euphoric performance to our Venue stage.
