In this workshop, participants will experience rhythms and movements inspired by South Asian heritage. The movements demonstrated will be from the Indian classical dance style of Bharatanatyam, and the percussions will be that of the tabla. The day will start with a short demonstration performance by the artists.
By the end of this exciting day, participants to go away with an understanding of the dance style and rhythms and an ability to incorporate the same in their own practise.
