Lea Mullen’s Percussion Paraphernalia

  • 04.10.17 - 22.11.17

Explore and extend band percussion and drum skills, styles and techniques across a variety of pop formats with acclaimed drummer and percussionist Lea Mullen. Using a multitude of hand and stick drums, hand percussion and a panoply of instruments collected from all around the world, Lea will introduce rhythms from a wide variety of traditional cultures and demonstrate how they can be brought into modern popular musical settings.

With active hands-on coaching throughout, this eight week course ends with an informal shared opportunity to play with a full band on stage at Band on the Wall.

A course for players of all levels from beginner to advanced. Fun, friendly and informative!

This is an open level course suitable for players of any level, from beginner to advanced, and highly recommended for all would-be percussionists and drummers.
