After the “Mambo King : A Musical Tribute To Tito Puente” show by Orchestra Mambo International in the main room finishes, we continue the Latin music vibes in the bar from 10pm until late with LATIN JAM featuring two of the north’s top salsa/Latin music DJs…..DJ Lubi (Leeds) and DJ Jane Salsaldi (Manchester). 

DJ Lubi is a UK salsa/Latin music legend with four decades in the game, dozens of salsa/Cuban/Latin music compilations to his name (including ten for the legendary New York label Fania Records), DJ appearances in 25 countries worldwide, legendary Leeds salsa/Latin clubnights over the years (Casa Latina, Salsoul, Calle Ocho), numerous radio shows (currently on London’s Totally Wired Radio), and has been a champion of live Latin music since the late 80s. His specialities musically have been/still are salsa, mambo, Cuban music, Latin funk, bugalu, Latin/Cuban hip-hop and Latin electronica, especially vinyl classics.

Jane has been DJing for over 15 years, plays all over the UK guesting at salsa clubs and festivals, is resident DJ at La Bomba Nottingham (reggaeton night) and also at Revolucion De Cuba Nottingham (salsa & reggaeton nights), host her own salsa parties in Manchester (and has done so for a decade and a half) and hosts a popular weekly Wednesday radio show on OSSR Radio (Our Salsa Souls Radio). Her musical specialities are salsa, bachata, reggaeton, dembow, urban Latin and Latin electronica.
