Jamie Finlay returns with his debut LP, “Sun Dogs,” recorded between 2021 and 2023, featuring collaborations with various talented musicians. Jamie is set to perform live with a 7-piece band, including many album collaborators, at the Deaf Institute for the album’s release party.
 
Jamie Finlay, an award-winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Manchester, has a rich history of fusing genres such as soul, jazz, broken beat, funk, spoken-word, deep house, and hip hop in his early releases. His music has received critical acclaim, sold-out shows at London’s Jazz Café, and support from renowned artists and DJs like Gilles Peterson and Mr. Scruff. 
 
Support will come from Kemani Anderson in a rare solo outing. Kemani is a 23 year old singer from Manchester. Co-founder, lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Secret Night Gang. He is influenced by an array of genres including jazz, funk, soul, R&B, hip hop and gospel, and by artists such as Donny Hathaway, Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Bilal and Prince.
