Band on the Wall presents a series of late night free entry gigs and DJ sets on our custom made second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favouring emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Manchester-based artist IORA makes alternative electropop, a combination of vocal and instrumental harmonies, married with electronic samples and sounds, intriguing the audience with its originality.
IORA’s music started with her passion for singing, storytelling and performing. IORA’s collaboration with producer Re:tract, ‘Waiting’, received support from Radio 1’s BBC Introducing with Gemma Bradley and the Chillest Show with Sian Eleri.
Her latest release ‘Animal’ received support from BBC Introducing North West and played on the Live Lounge Special show.
