IORA creates melody and narrative-driven alternative electro-pop. On stage, IORA is joined by Lavender Rodriguez on bass, Hannah Ashcroft on guitar and synth and Jenny Walinetski on drums.
IORA’s release of ‘Feel it’ received support from BBC 6 Music and was performed at Glastonbury and the Great Escape festival. Her latest EP, featuring the standout track ‘Devil in Me’ with David O’Dowda and released through Extreme Music (Sony/ATV Music Publishing), garnered attention by soaring to 16th on Romania’s Shazam charts and receiving airplay on Netflix, ABC, and Paramount Plus.
Support comes from Test Card Girl, a solo project by independent synth-folk Manchester singer-songwriter Catherine Burgis.
After spending a year as a musical comedian, travelling the country with a miniature Yamaha keyboard, Catherine won North West Comedian of the Year, before re-purposing the tiny keyboard to write her first release.
