Presenting Inner City Waves #9 – a free-entry showcase of some of our favourite local emerging urban artists, featuring Maxi Zee, Rosebud, Cave Man, Sindy’s Place and DJ Flow Theory.
Maxi Zee is an international model and musician who started travelling around the world at an young age. He now finds himself in Manchester where his music career has really flourished.
Singer/songwriter rosebud is definitely one to watch. Her delicate RnB has won her praise from BBC Introducing Manchester last year, just check out her acoustic rendition of ‘River I Run’ for an idea of her versatility.
Cave Man is the name chosen by a young, thin, rat faced creature from Whalley Range. Since 2011 Cave Man has spit poetry on buses, scribbled it on toilet paper and forgotten it the next day. Known for hosting Leanin’ as well as being part of the NoSpace collective, Cave Man is also active as a youth leader, theatre maker and artist at large, and has opened for The Last Poets, Mouse Outfit, RA Rugged Man & more
Sindy’s Place is female musician hailing from Bolton whose track ‘Wake Up’ is a BBC Introducing in Manchester favourite
This is a standing show.
