As usual, the night is free entry and we’ve DJs on hand to ease us through proceedings, before the Dubya! End of term bash takes over. Maxi Zee currently calls Manchester home, but as a travelling model and MC, has international experience under his belt. He has worked in Turin and Seoul, modelling for the likes of New Balance and Cane Bros., as well as being hosting festival stages and supporting internationally renowned rap artists. He has new material in the pipeline and his recent joint Ultraviolet – produced by Manchester-based beatmaker Constiquence – is a great introduction to his flow and tone.

Having impressed at Inner City Waves #4 and SFTOC, we’re glad to have vocalist Rosebud back in the place to be! A diverse singer and songwriter, she can switch from delicate, mysterious acoustic numbers to vibing over downtempo beats. Check out her original River I Run for a sense of her raw talent.

Rap music is a significant part of Cave Man’s world, but the multi-talented MC does a wide variety of culturally important work. He’s a key player in the NoSpace collective, a founding father of the Leanin’ club night and well practiced performer, having engaged in poetry, rap, theatre and music. Find more on Cave Man via our recent interview and check out his verse on NoSpace’s Tangerine Daydream for a sense of his lethal flow and out there subject matter. Don’t be surprised if Pooch brings out a guest or two as well…

Formely known as China Lilly, Sindy’s Place is a multi-talented vocalist from Bolton. ‘The Portishead of trap’ is the genius tag on her SoundCloud, but the music really speaks for itself! Her self-produced cut Wake Up has received airplay from BBC Introducing Manchester and if you’re a fan of the subdued RnB of IAMDDB and Jorja Smith, you’ll hear something you dig for sure!
