MDP
With a style evolving from UK grime, the Modern Day Pirates (MDP) are bringing a fresh sound to the scene. Having grown up in poverty-stricken areas around the North of the UK, the MDP twins are using their music to shed light on their experiences of mental health and drug abuse.
Shantelle King
Shantelle King is an upcoming R&B/Neo-soul singer/songwriter, spreading jazzy renditions and heart-felt originals to every city. With a Gospel background, she has captured the ears of Veronika Bozeman, JP Cooper and BBC Radio 1xtra, with her angelic, soulful voice.
Jade Parker
Jade Parker is a producer and vocalist who has just released new single ‘Have You Got Me’. Developing her own style with inspiration from Jessy Lanza and Burial, Jade Parker has an uncanny ability to use space, measured tempo and flawless sonics.
rosebud
Singer/songwriter rosebud is definitely one to watch. Her delicate RnB has won her praise from BBC Introducing Manchester last year, just check out her acoustic rendition of ‘River I Run’ for an idea of her versatility.
