Beijing-born master flautist Guo Yue came to Band on the Wall on 22nd July 1992. In the same year, Yue had made an album for Real World records with Joji Hirota and Pol Brennan, which won an American Instrumental award. Yue plays fifteen varieties of bamboo flute, and released his last album Music, Food and Love in 2006.
