Over the years, Greater Manchester has produced some of the finest jazz talent in the UK though it’s network of educational ensembles across the region.
The Greater Manchester Jazz Orchestra, now entering its third year brings together the very best young musicians from the local youth jazz orchestras to form a truly wonderful big band playing charts by Chick Corea through to new inventions of standards by the band’s Musical Director Richard Iles.
For a chance to hear two great big bands on one night and support the next generation of jazz talent in our region, this is a show not to be missed.
