Freedom from Torture are hosting a night of wonderful live music to celebrate International Human Rights Day as part of their national Music Week 2012.

Our wonderful line-up includes:

Denis Jones
A Band on the Wall favourite! Utilising a loop station and all manner of samplers and effects, Denis creates vast, complex orchestrations of beat-box rhythms, multi-layered vocals and other-worldly sounds which veer from subtle heart-wrenching folk and blues to heavy bass-driven electronica – not to be missed!

Jason Singh
Jason Singh is a Beatboxer/Vocal Sculptor whose work is rooted in inspiring people to engage in exciting creative experiences through the voice, technology, performance and participation. Constantly pushing the boundaries of beatboxing, Singh is a prolific solo artist who has collaborated with many artists including Nitin Sawhney.

Jake Mattison
Jake Mattison is a singer-songwriter from Manchester. Inspired by the mid-60s Northern Soul of The Radiants, the early folk-soul albums of Terry Callier and artists such as Paul Simon, John Martyn and Nick Drake.

All money raised goes directly to support our work with survivors of torture.

This event begins at 8pm but our Picturehouse Cafe Bar is open earlier for drinks.

TICKETS NOW ONLY AVAILABLE IN PERSON FROM THE BAND ON THE WALL BOX OFFICE. BOX OFFICE OPEN FROM 5PM
