FREE EVENT.
An open introductory session for any violinist interested in extending skills, trying out traditional fiddle tunes and styles from around the globe. Learned aurally and away from notated music with supporting resources. Tutors, Emma Sweeney (Irish Folk Fiddle) and Thea Spiers (Classical/ Folk) offer a new approach to learning suitable for players of all backgrounds both classical and traditional. Further extended sessions focussing on each style are planned in Feb (15th, 22nd) and March (14th, 21st) subject to demand.
