Find Your Voice is a set of teaching and learning strategies for exploring with students what their voices can do, and applying this to a series of exciting performing, improvising and composing activities. Integrated into this is the use
of mobile phones and tablets as tools for enhancing, extending and creating music.

“The work and resources Musical Futures has shared have sparked my creativity as a teacher and have led me to explore teacher music in more creative ways. It has changed my approach with all students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.”

(Sandie Heckel, Power Glen Public School, Ontario, Canada)

“This has transformed everything: my teaching, the students I teach and re-established that this is the best job in the world.”

(Nathalie Van Der Weide, Harris Academy, Purley)

Musical Futures is a movement to reshape music education driven by teachers for teachers. At its heart is a set of tried-and- tested pedagogies that bring non-formal teaching and informal learning approaches into the classroom, in an attempt to provide engaging, sustainable and relevant music making activities for all young people.
