j2oh are a hybrid-jazz duo based in the north of England, with Jenny Walinetski on Drums and Jemma Freese on Keys and Vocals. Their energetic and emotionally epic sound comes from a hybrid of hip-hop/trap/dnb/electronic and contemporary jazz, using cross signatures, melodic phrasing, rhymical hooks, complex harmony, and vocal soundbites to create their sound. Influences include Floating Points, Gretchen Parlato, Yussef Kamaal, Portico Quartet, Slowly Rolling Camera, and Richard Spaven.

Sensitive, sulky, ambient ballads with experimental, angular electronics are the sounds that emerge from this trio. Made up of Ellen Beth Abdi (vocals, flute and loops), John Diver (guitar and electronics) and Alexander Tod (drums).Inspired by dreamscapes and nightmares, Sleeper Service occupy the space between slumber and the waking world. Pulsing synths, silky guitars, frenetic rhythms and jazz inflected melodies.
