Band on the Wall presents a series of free entry gigs and DJ sets on our second stage, located to the rear of our brand new bar. We’ll be shining a light on our favourite emerging artists across all genres with a diverse programme of global sounds from, and inspired by, the music of cultures from around the world.
Lawal is a Manchester based multi-genre DJ and event curator who cut his teeth in Liverpool’s flourishing bass music scene, spinning a range of underground music from dubstep and grime, to trap and UK funky.
His range has since expanded to include genres such as disco, hip-hop, afrobeat, techno and UK garage.
He is co-owner of the fast-growing Drop The Mic event series, and is a Steam Radio resident under the Impure Sounds brand.
Lawal has supported the likes of Roska, DJ Q and DJ Spooky, and has appeared on the Keep Hush platform as part of of their Off Site livestreams!
