Chris Wood’s weaving of traditional folk with his own rich and contemporary parables has lead to justified comparisons with Richard Thompson at his best. The current recipient of the BBC Folk Award for both Singer and Album of the year, Chris Wood’s Handmade Life includes fellow Imagined Villagers’ Andy Gangadeen and Barney Morse Brown with Robert Jarvis on trombone.
