  • Band on the Wall, Manchester

Although relatively new to the game of DJing, Nora has taken to the art like a duck to water. Having been surrounded by music from an early age, it is as if music is within her DNA. Her real passion for quality shines through with her selections and attention to detail. A selector who grips you from the first track and ceases to let go until the very last blend, Nora delves into genres with a explorer-like inquisitiveness, touching upon a variety of essences when it comes to sound but with an underlying desire to showcase percussion and bass at the forefront. Meandering through BPM as well as styles is at the beating heart of Nora’s craft, sliding and weaving around tempos with athletic-like agility every time she steps behind the decks. She will be joined by Steam Radio resident, Wattson, who has made his mark in both the South London and Manchester scenes, with his mix of dub techno, dubstep, and much more.

The pair will be joining Bodies In Motion residents, Joey Name and Rufus. The Manchester-born collective has been throwing parties in Glasgow for nearly a year, garnering attention for their eclectic selections and leftfield style. The pair aim to cover many genres in each set that they play, from funk, soul and disco, to house, acid and electronica and beyond. The first hour will ease you in before the two begin to get your feet moving with some dancier tracks. Check out their mixes on Hill 52, Radio Buena Vida, and Voices Radio for a taste of what to expect.”
