Exploring open, melodic compositions and expansive improvisations, Leeds-based Ben Haskins Quartet draws influence from jazz scenes on both sides of the Atlantic, taking inspiration from John Coltrane, Shabaka Hutchings, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Guiliana, and Bill Frisell.
Following the release of the 5 Track EP “Shapes Change/Colours Stay”, Ben Haskins brings his quartet to Band on the Wall to celebrate the release.
Touring guitarist with Jasmine Myra and K.O.G., Haskins maintains a busy performing schedule throughout the year. Playing venues and festivals both in the UK and internationally as well as a monthly residency at Leeds’ Domino Club. Notable performances include Love Supreme festival, Glastonbury and Later with Jools Holland.
As a composer, Haskins’ releases on HPBC Records have received support from Jazzwise Magazine, Jazz FM, Worldwide FM, Jazz Revelations and BBC Radio 3. Through regular gigging and playing in mutual projects his band has built a tight relationship making it one of most exciting groups on the Leeds scene.

Rory A. Green is a Ghana born – Manchester raised contemporary guitarist and composer who’s sound can be linked to jazz and folk taking influence from both his English and West African heritage which can be heard in his latest single ‘Little House’
With his dynamic, conversational approach to the guitar and improvisation Rory has been using music to share stories and captivate audiences across the UK. Sharing stages with artists such as Mansur Brown, Laura Misch, Cyrille Aimée, Kessoncoda and James Heather, gaining media attention from Fender Guitars and Guitar World Magazine
