A special Bank Holiday weekend event for the whole family.
Take part in a traditional Brazilian style parade with drums, dance, song and costume.
Spend the day learning to play simple Brazilian rhythms, sing some great songs and chants, and make costumes and decorations and ‘noise makers’. Then we parade!
We provide authentic percussion instruments to play and materials to make stuff.
The day is most suitable for children between the ages of 7 and 11 although this is very flexible. Children must be accompanied by an adult, who will also have the opportunity to take an active role in the day’s activities! There is a short break for lunch and you can invite non participating family members along to the final parade.
