Acoustic Bhuna is Band On The Wall’s acoustic showcase evening, playing host to some of the very best acoustic music that the North West has to offer.

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, between 6 and 10pm, you will be able to see three of the regions finest acts playing for FREE in the cosy setting of Band On The Wall’s Picturehouse Cafe-Bar.

This week’s acts are:

“Young, bold and unfathomably talented’, Rook And The Ravens are a super-tight 5-piece from the Dark Peak, who play articulate, edgy, self-assured rock/folk/pop, packed with energy, hooks and harmonies. Headlining Acoutic Bhuna just weeks after stepping off the plane from their first 3 week tour of The States.. this may well be your last chance to see Rook And The Ravens before they go global!

Haunting and enigmatic, Manchester-based harpist and songwriter Quincey May Brown is a talent that, once heard, is not soon to be forgotten. With beautiful, lilting songs that are underpinned by her delicate playing and beguiling vocal style, Quincey May Brown’s music is sure to soothe your ruffled feathers and leave you speechless.

The Voice Collective are one of Manchester’s best kept musical secrets. A 13-strong vocal harmony group who sing spine-tingling arrangements of soul and gospel classics. An absolute treat for the Acoustic Bhuna crowd.. not to be missed!

Doors open a 6pm, music starts at 7pm. FREE ENTRY.

As a perfect accompaniment to the live music, you can tuck into one of Chef Giles’ fresh, home made curries, made with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of love. And why not wash it all down with a refreshing pint of cask ale from our sponsors, Green Mill Brewery?
