Acoustic Bhuna is Band On The Wall’s acoustic showcase evening, playing host to some of the very best acoustic music that the North West has to offer.
Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, between 6 and 10pm, you will be able to see three of the regions finest acts playing for FREE in the cosy setting of Band On The Wall’s Picturehouse Cafe-Bar.
Rik Warren is a singer, guitarist and blues harmonica virtuoso and founder member of two of the most exciting bands on the Manchester scene at the moment; Honeyfeet and Walk. As a solo artist, Rik has a sound entirely of his own. His laconic vocals float beautifully on top of his effortless fingerpicked blues guitar, which is both energetic and melodic in equal measures. Quite simply, Rik Warren is THE Manchester bluesman!
Mike Pritchard is a walking encyclopedia of blues and folk music. A fine guitarist and singer, his live sets incorporate traditional and contemporary songs of American, English and Celtic origins.
Doors open at 5pm, music starts at 7:30pm. FREE ENTRY.
