Over the last six months, Troubadour’s Grave have burst onto the Manchester acoustic scene like a breath of fresh air. In front-man Jacob Olah, the band can boast one of the most promising and precociously talented young singer/songwriter/arrangers in the city, and the live sound they create is reminiscent of rolling around in the lush, long grass on a hot summer’s day. Subtle, interweaving guitar lines and delicate three-part harmonies form the bed for Olah’s warm, crystal-clear vocal melodies and often heart-rending lyrics. This band come as an Acoustic Bhuna special recommendation!

The name ‘Stefan Melbourne’ seems to be on everyone’s lips at the moment, as the Yorkshire bred, Manchester matured songwriter has been edging his way into the public consciousness with a recent EP release and UK tour. One of the very best singer-songwriters in Manchester (therefore the country) at the moment, Stefan pens effortlessly emotive tunes which he delivers in a weather worn, yet dynamic vocal style which is entirely his own.
Michelle Holding is a Manchester based folk artist whose voice is complimented perfectly by her accomplished banjo and fingerstyle guitar. Joined on stage by accompanist Bonz on acoustic and slide guitar, expect a mixture of traditional and original songs to soothe your weary souls.
Doors open a 6pm, music starts at 7pm. FREE ENTRY.
As a perfect accompaniment to the live music, you can tuck into one of Chef Giles’ fresh, home made curries, made with locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of love. And why not wash it all down with a refreshing pint of cask ale from our sponsors, Green Mill Brewery?
