Luciano Gerber
Brazilian, Pelotas-born guitarist and vocalist, Luciano Gerber is renowned for his cosmopolitan fusion of Brazilian sounds – a blend of folk, bossa nova, milonga and samba, with flavourings of Arabic Music and Flamenco. In the past 8 years, he has appeared with some of Manchester’s greatest musicians and at top venues including Manchester Jazz Festival, Matt and Phred’s, Contact Theatre, Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Exchange.
Bo Weavil
Acoustic Bhuna is delighted to welcome back Bo Weavil to the Picturehouse stage after a 2 year hiatus. Hailing from Lancashire, Bo Weavil are more than just a folk outfit. The band come across as a positive string orchestra with some melodica and harmonica thrown in for good measure. Pure foot-stomping excellence!

Once more, Acoustic Bhuna brings you a gem from the mine of acoustic talent that is rural Lancashire.. this time in the form of Baxter Rhodes. With a weather-worn vocal style that compliments his lilting, country-tinged ballads beautifully – expect excellent songs, excellently played!
