“I learned the basics of music production and the course has given me the confidence to produce and record my own music.”

“Mike is a great teacher and extremely good at making the topics taught in the course interesting and bringing out the enthusiasm in us.”

Tutor Mike Richardson has been involved in the music business for approaching a decade now, working as both a sound engineer & event manager, more recently concentrating on DJing and production. He has international recognition releasing music and taking in club and festival gigs all over the UK and abroad.
With an eclectic taste, Mike brings together house, techno, electro, garage and even drum and bass, in ways that are sometimes surprising, but always bang on the money. His weekly Retune FM Radio Show on Manchester Unity Radio, has brought with it an army of devotees.

Have a listen to LOOKING BACK by Mike Richardson & Howard Sessions feat KT Forrester (Lost My Dog Records) to whet your appetite.

Mike has also released music on Retweak Records, and 3am Recordings and is currently developing a live set and a stack full of new tracks which he will roll out over the coming months.
