We’re super excited to announce that Band on the Wall has forged a new partnership with Brewery Arts, bringing two of the North’s leading venues together to grow an even bigger and bolder live music programme for audiences in Kendal, in the foothills of the stunning Lake District.
We previously worked with Brewery Arts from 2009-2020, joining forces to present major acts such as John Martyn, Fat White Family, Craig Charles, Tim Burgess and many more. This new partnership will enable both venues to bring even more incredible music from around the world to the North of England.
The partnership will see Hannah Flynn, Programme Manager at Brewery Arts, collaborate with Santana Guérout, Chief of Programming at Band on the Wall, to increase the scale and scope of the year-round programme at Brewery Arts.
The partnership has already secured a headline act for the summer programme – legendary Afrobeat artist Femi Kuti will perform on 28 July at Brewery Arts, as well as shows at Brudenell Social Club Leeds on 27th July and Band on the Wall on 29th July. We’ll be announcing even more shows soon !
