DJ Krush releases new instrumental album featuring Binkbeats and Toshinori Kondo

Prolific Japanese beatmaker DJ Krush continues his celebration of 25 years in professional music, with the release of his new instrumental album Cosmic Yard today. Featuring contributions from Dutch percussionist and producer Binkbeats (who played a jaw-dropping solo show at Band on the Wall last month) and prolific avant-garde trumpeter Toshinori Kondo, it reflects on the science of matter: ‘how we are all made of the same basic materials, carbon, space dust’.

It promises to be a suitably emphatic, 12-track offering, with new single Dust Trail calling to mind recent productions by the likes of Bonobo and Roots Manuva with Adrian Sherwood.
