New video: Johnny Clarke ‘Declaration of Rights’ live at Band on the Wall

Legendary reggae vocalist Johnny Clarke made his return to Band on the Wall for the first time in over a decade on 27th March 2016. Backed by the excellent Dub Asante band, Clarke delivered hit after hit from his vast back catalogue, spanning a career that saw him named Artist of the Year in Jamaica for 1975 and 1976, during the height of his popularity.

The African roots were on show early at Band on the Wall as Clarke delivered the classic ‘Declaration of Rights’ to the packed out room. Watch the footage below.
