GroundUP artists to appear at SXSW festival

The annual SXSW festival is in full swing, and once again has a remarkable musical programme including a diverse range of international artists. GroundUP music, the label founded by Snarky Puppy bandleader Michael League, are hosting their own showcase for the festival, including performances from The Funky Knuckles, Cory Henry and Banda Magda before Snarky Puppy take to the stage.

Banda Magda have just completed a run of tour dates with Snarky Puppy in South America, and come to Band on the Wall in April, a few days before The Funky Knuckles & Mark Lettieri Trio’s show here. Elsewhere, Cory Henry brings his Revival Project to St. Philip’s Church, Salford in May.
