Snarky Puppy appear in new documentary for Jazz Night in America with Christian McBride

Snarky Puppy have made a sensational start to 2016, winning their second GRAMMY® award for their collaborative album with the Metropole Orkest, and seeing that same album named as a nomination for Jazz FM’s Album of the Year, as well as releasing their new album Family Dinner Volume 2 to widespread acclaim.

Now we see the band make their return to the city where it all began; Dallas, Texas. In this Jazz Night in America documentary narrated by jazz bassist Christian McBride, we see Snarky Puppy playing a live show at The Door and follow bassist and bandleader Michael League as he walks us through the remodelled Tunisian groove that formed one of the group’s most popular numbers, ‘Shofukan’.
