Brighter Sound and Modular Music School are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for young emerging laptop musicians to work with internationally renowned producers and composers on a new residency programme, in association with Band on the Wall.
We are looking for emerging laptop musicians aged 16-24 who are interested in collaborating and developing digital composition and live performance skills, to take part in Modular Music Lab. Modular Music Lab is an innovative artistic residency programme spanning two weeks in August and October 2015. We are offering ten laptop musicians a unique opportunity to collaborate and develop new skills for composition and live performance through a series of ten day-long workshops plus a live performance at Band on the Wall on Sunday 15 November.

The residency will consist of ten workshops, taking place over two weeks in August and October 2015. Participants will collaborate and work on improvisation, develop production techniques using laptops / software as live musical instruments; develop professional skills, as well as composing new music for a public performance at Band on the Wall on Sunday 15 November.
