The Secret Folk Club finds a new home at Band on the Wall, with a host of excellent folk and blues acts.
Described as ‘a bluesman for the 21st century’ by Louder than War, Jim Adama’s distinctly Mancunian take on the genre is refreshing and enthralling. As an accomplished slide player, he brings authentic bluesy riffs to his songs, based on themes of North West life. Take a listen to Jim here.
Joining Jim on the bill are Honeyfeet’s Ellis Davies and Rik Warren, providing further folk splendor. The night will also be ‘open mic’, so others can take to the stage alongside these excellent performers.
