NEW series of 5 sessions. Get children started on the road to learning instruments and making music together and with their parents. This exciting new project from Brighter Sound gives children aged between 4 and 8 years the chance to develop and build fundamental and creative musical skills in a non-formal and accessible way.

Every child (and accompanying parent) will learn simple songwriting techniques, some basics on a new instrument, build rhythmic skills on percussion instruments and share their new music together as a group. Each week the activities will take place in whole group and small group sessions with expert tuition and active parental involvement encouraged throughout.

Junior Jam is a 5 session mini course which is designed to give children the opportunity to learn, progress and embed their musical skills over 5 weeks of structured activity. To get the maximum benefit for your child we would recommend that they attend on a regular basis over the 5 weeks. Each course will be suitable for new ‘starters’ and have a new activity for ‘regulars’ to extend their skill.
All instruments are provided. (Ukuleles available for use in sessions only. We can offer advice on where to go and what to buy).

Price: £40 for all 5 sessions. £65 for all 5 sessions (discount sibling rate – 2 children) £10 per session. Adults come free!
The Picturehouse Bar will be open for sale of tea, coffee and soft drinks.
