Annette Walker is one of the leading exponents of a new generation of tap dancers taking the stage with grace, style, and above all, rhythm. She is a member of the UK tap group AboutTime, one of the key members of the Tap Rhythm Project and queen of the Renegade Stage at the regular London Tap Jam at Ronnie Scotts.
Annette has performed in such events as Turned on Tap with tap group London Jazz Tap Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the gDA Cabaret at Greenwich Dance Academy , the royal charity show Aspects of Dance with About Time at Richmond Theatre, and a number of solo and guest appearances in festivals and special events. She has also appeared on television show The New Paul O’Grady Show with tap group About Time.
In addition to performing, Annette is also tap dance teacher for Greenwich Dance Academy and has been a contributing writer for the Talking Tap section in the dance magazine formerly known as Dance Expression.
